Why this site exists
If you’re on Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, or Zepbound and you’ve searched for help with the bloating, sulfur burps, constipation, or sleep issues that came with it, you’ve probably noticed something: the internet doesn’t have a great answer for you.
General gut health content wasn’t written with GLP-1 medications in mind. And most of the information specifically about these medications focuses on weight loss results, not what’s actually happening to your digestion day to day, or what to do about it.
That gap is why this site exists.
How this site is built
Every piece of content here starts with a question someone on a GLP-1 medication is actually asking, and works backward from real sources, not assumptions. That means:
- Claims are checked against clinical studies, physician statements, and established health publishers before anything is published, not after.
- When a claim can’t be verified, it gets cut. We would rather publish less than publish something inaccurate. In building this site, we caught and corrected more than one claim that turned out to come from a supplement company’s marketing page rather than real research, and rewrote it once we found the actual data.
- We are working with a healthcare professional to review our content before it reaches readers, because a research-backed claim and a clinically reviewed claim are not the same thing, and this is exactly the kind of topic where that difference matters. [We’ll update this section with reviewer details once that process is complete.]
What we are not
We’re not doctors, and this site is not medical advice. We’re not affiliated with Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly, or any pharmaceutical manufacturer. We’re an independent, reader-supported information resource, and we say so plainly in our Affiliate Disclosure.
If something you read here is unclear, or you think we’ve gotten something wrong, we want to know. You can reach us at support@fitnessfactntips.com.
Always talk to your prescriber or a qualified healthcare provider about your specific symptoms, medications, and any changes to your routine. Nothing on this site replaces that conversation, it’s meant to help you have a more informed one.
